Lead digital transformation at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital as the next Associate Chief Digital Information Officer.The Position
  • The Associate Chief Digital Information Officer plays a critical role in overseeing the technology infrastructure and digital systems, ensuring that St. John’s Episcopal Hospital’s clinical, financial, and administrative operational needs are met. 
  • Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this leader will oversee a team of four direct reports and 35 FTEs.
  • This leader will be responsible for performing a gap analysis to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, the leader will develop a strategic roadmap for the MEDITECH expansion project and continue to mentor and develop the team, building upon the strong progress already achieved.
  • Ideal candidates will bring dynamic leadership, strategic vision, and a collaborative approach to partnering with leadership across the organization. A strong understanding of departmental dynamics and the ability to step in decisively during time-sensitive situations will be essential.
  • This is a full-time, onsite role.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive healthcare IT leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to drive enterprise IT strategy, innovation, and transformation; prior CIO experience highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, NIST, HITECH, and CMS regulations; relevant professional certifications such as CHCIO, CPHIMS, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Proven expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight within complex healthcare environments.
Compensation Range
  • The base salary range for this position is $240,000 to $250,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
