O'Grady Peyton International, an AMN Healthcare company, offers a staffing agency solution. The healthcare facility will hire a nurse through a staffing agency, which supplies and employs the talent. You become an employee of AMN Healthcare, versus an employee of the healthcare facility itself.

  • Commitment length: 2 years or 4,160 straight time hours (shortest contracts in the industry!)

International Direct Hire Career Path

with Connetics USA

Connetics USA, an AMN Healthcare company, offers an industry-leading direct hire solution for international nurses. Working with a direct hire recruitment agency means the healthcare facility hires you directly as their employee. The direct hire agency is simply matching you with a healthcare facility position. Direct-hire jobs are typically core staff permanent positions with salary and benefits based on experience and education.

  • Visa sponsor: Healthcare facility
  • Benefits provided by: Healthcare facility
  • Commitment length: 3 years
  • Pay rate: Typically based on experience and education. Rate is the same as what is being offered to similarly experienced and domestic healthcare professionals employed by the healthcare facility
  • Referral Bonus: Earn up to $250 when you refer a qualifying post-NCLEX candidate
  • Additional benefits vary by the healthcare facility and may include relocation assistance (travel, housing), legal and government fees, bonuses (sign on, relocation) and more. What qualifications are required to apply?

You must be a registered nurse to apply.

What fees are covered by AMN Healthcare?

The staffing career path covers your fees for the VisaScreen, NCLEX application and testing, licensure endorsement application, board of nursing application and transportation costs to the U.S. for testing.

The direct hire career path covers fees that are determined by your healthcare facility. Covered fees may include relocation assistance (travel, housing), legal and government fees, bonuses (sign-on, relocation) and licensure fees (VisaScreen, English review and testing, license endorsement, etc.).

What are my out-of-pocket expenses?

In the staffing career path, you are only responsible for direct immigration costs from the National Visa Center and U.S. Department of State Fees and travel for dependents, if applicable.

In the direct hire career path, you are responsible for NCLEX application and testing fees. You may also be responsible for various other licensure, credentialing and/or immigration fees. Your healthcare facility will cover various fees as part of a compensation package.

In the staffing career path, AMN Healthare provides English education scholarships that cover testing costs for those who qualify.

In the direct hire career path, an English proficiency study program is available at no cost to the clinician. English testing costs, however, must be paid by the clinician.

What pre-arrival education is available?

In the staffing career path, robust clinical training modules are provided with dedicated clinical oversight frpm AMN Healthcare.

What clinical support is available?

In the staffing career path, a clinical manager is assigned to support you throughout the duration of your two year contract.

What documents will I receive assistance in obtaining?
