  • The System Director of Imaging Services will lead the entire department, providing visionary guidance for staffing, strategic planning, budgeting, patient care, and technology within the Tanner Health System.
  • Responsible for overall management and direction of imaging modalities within the radiology discipline. Directs and implements management strategies for the provision of Radiological and Diagnostic Imaging Services, such as Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Radiology, CT, Ultrasound and Mammography. Responsible for clinical staff supervision.
  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Hospital Operations this leader will oversee a team of 18 direct reports and 212 FTEs.
  • The System Director will actively pursue departmental updates to PowerScribe, pinpoint opportunities for integrating Artificial Intelligence, and enhance process flows to optimize appointment scheduling within the existing framework.
  • In addition, this leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day relationships with our contracted radiology clinical staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal performance.
  • Seeking exceptional candidates who are experienced leaders in the field of radiology but also deeply engaged in their profession. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to mentor, foster growth, and impart knowledge to our dedicated staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. 
  • Seven years' diagnostic imaging experience and five years' leadership experience preferred. 
  • Radiologic Technologist and Technician Certification of Radiologic Technologists (CRT) preferred.
