BILH coversheet required at time of submission – MA license required and FLU required after 09/02. ACLS/BLS AHA required. East PACU is open Mon-Fri, 8a-11:30p. Shift will be 12 hour rotating shifts: Shift times will be 8-8:30p, 9:30-10p, 11-11:30p and 12-12:30a. In a 4 week block, the RN is expected to be assigned to 5 or more later shifts — 4 week blocks for each schedule. Call is 2300-0800, one night on call shift per week. If called in, it is a min of 2 hours. There are 2 night on call nurses each night, in case there are still PACU patients recovering or if there are urgent or emergent OR cases being done through the night hours. Patient ratio is 2:1 and ASPAN guidelines are followed. There are 2 PACUs—Shapiro PACU is for Outpatients and Feldberg PACU is for Same Day Admissions or Inpatients. Expected to recover OR, IR, GI patient receiving anesthesia. Epic EMR. No local candidates will be considered at this time. Prior travel is required. Candidates must be separated for 6 months from BILH if previously worked perm, per diem or travel. Parking details available by request, but can be expensive if working day shift – please reach out for details.
