Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 yrs with diagnoses including but not limited to respiratory diagnoses with multiple therapies for support ranging from nasal cannula, non-invasive Trilogy BiPap/CPap and all ventilators; other medical diagnoses including but not limited to chronic childhood diseases, sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders, oncology diagnoses, metabolic disorders, NAT. Surgical patients including neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedics and general surgery Specific equipment used includes Trilogy & Drager ventilators; Codman ICP monitors; Medfusion syringe pumps and Baxter large volume IV pumps Required Certifications: BLS; PALS Preferred Certification: ACLS Required Qualifications: Prefer minimum 2 years staff experience and 1 year travel experience in teaching facilities PICU. Comments: Scheduling option include rotating days & nights or straight nights. No straight day positions available. Eligible to float to all inpatient care areas, including critical care units and acute care floors. Travelers do not float to ED, OR or inpatient Psych FLOAT: Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).
