Join Northeast Georgia Health System, a not-for-profit healthcare system, as their new Accreditation Director! The Position
  • The Accreditation Director will lead system-wide accreditation and continuous readiness efforts across acute care hospitals and hospital outpatient departments, including CMS, DNV, state regulations, and ISO standards. 
  • The Director will be responsible for the oversight of approximately five FTEs and will oversee accreditation readiness activities, including survey preparation, findings management, action planning, and resolution tracking. 
  • Partner with nursing, operations, Risk Management, and other departments to proactively identify improvement opportunities and ensure ongoing survey readiness 
  • This leader will direct system-wide policy and document control functions, including oversight of the Policy Steering Committee and standardization of documentation practices. 
  • The Director will strive to maintain strategic and operational oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control systems across Acute Care Services.  
  • Lead and develop the Accreditation, Policy, and Document Control teams, including coaching, performance management, and competency oversight. 
  • This leader will collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, resource planning, and system-level accreditation priorities and goals. 
  • Serve as a lean leader, promoting continuous improvement and supporting organizational excellence initiatives, while completing special projects as assigned.  
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Active RN license is required. 
  • A minimum of five years of progressive care experience within an acute care setting is required. 
  • A minimum of five years’ experience of accreditation or related experience is required.

  • The Administrator of Quality & Performance Improvement will provide strategic and operational leadership for quality, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives across the organization. This leader will play a critical role in advancing clinical outcomes, strengthening accreditation readiness, and building a culture of continuous improvement within a stable, collaborative healthcare environment.
  • This leader will oversee a team of approximately 23 FTEs, including 5 direct reports, and will focus on developing team capabilities, enhancing benchmarking efforts, and bringing structure to performance improvement initiatives. 
  • The Administrator will lead efforts around patient safety, infection prevention, and performance improvement, with a focus on improving key metrics such as readmissions and hospital-acquired infections (including CLABSI, CAUTI, and surgical site infections). They will evaluate current practices, identify gaps, and implement data-driven strategies to enhance outcomes across targeted service lines.
  • A key priority for this role will be accreditation preparedness, including readiness rounding, policy and document management alignment, and ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission standards. The Administrator will strengthen internal processes to support a successful upcoming survey while building sustainable systems for ongoing compliance.
  • The Administrator will introduce and advance Lean-based performance improvement methodologies, helping the organization shift from a traditionally conservative approach toward a more proactive, data-driven, and outcomes-focused culture. They will leverage benchmarking and best practices—ideally with experience tied to specific patient populations or service lines—to drive measurable improvements.
  • This role requires a highly collaborative and relationship-driven leader who can effectively partner with physicians, executives, and clinical teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization will be essential in driving engagement, accountability, and sustained improvement.
  • The ideal candidate brings experience within an academic medical center or similarly complex environment, along with deep knowledge of accreditation standards, quality metrics, and patient safety initiatives. They will be a visible, hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with operational execution during a time of organizational transition and opportunity.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field is required.

Senior Vice President, Quality and SafetyCatholic HealthBuffalo, NYThe OpportunityCatholic Health, an integrated health system in Buffalo, New York, announces an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished nurse leader to serve as its Senior Vice President, Quality and Safety.Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer, the SVP Quality and Safety is responsible for the overall management of an experienced broad-based team charged with monitoring, reporting, educating and inspiring devotion to excelling in internal and external quality metrics for the entire enterprise with the goal of attaining and sustaining top decile performance. The SVP serves as the system liaison and senior executive for all Quality and Patient Safety collaborative initiatives with the acute care hospitals, service lines, continuing care division and homecare ministries to promote integration and alignment in an effort to improve the quality and safety outcomes across the continuum, thereby improving the patient’s overall experience.   The SVP will provide leadership and guidance for the executive leaders’ education and development and lead the efforts for quality improvement education, training and coaching of all Catholic Health staff. The SVP will be responsible for establishing a strategic framework for achieving the institution’s goals with relation to medical care quality, education quality, research quality and patient safety. Additionally, the SVP will play a critical role in system and Catholic Medical Partners initiatives regarding population health management, quality improvement, clinical practice standardization. The SVP will also foster a culture of safety, champion high reliability and the magnet journey in addition to other cross functional activities.The Ideal Candidate:
  • A master’s degree with clinical major required.
  • Current registration with the New York State Education Department as a Registered Professional Nurse or ability to quickly obtain will be required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive quality and safety management experience in an acute care setting.
  • Experience in an academic medical center and/or progressive health system of significant size and complexity preferred.
  • Experience establishing and monitoring appropriate process and outcome measures for key initiatives using a systems perspective; evaluating the processes by which clinical care and patient services are delivered.
  • Experience working with informatics, metrics, and performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated change management skills in a complex environment.
  • An inspirational leader that motivated colleagues and staff throughout the organization by clearly articulating a compelling vision for the future, making courageous decisions, following through with commitments, and demonstrating an unrelenting passion for CH mission and performance.
  • Experience with tracking, reporting, and improving key quality and safety metrics.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
