N Who manages ventilators: Respiratory Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: (For example: Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; Weaning; Nebulizer to Inhaler; Starting IVs, performing venipuncture, Performing EKGs; Discontinuing sheaths) Staff start all IV’s and perform venipuncture on adults and newborns. Perform EKG’s. Assist with Epidural placement, attend deliveries vaginal and surgical, newborn care – circumcisions, assist with NRP, UVC placement. Breastfeeding support. Newborn care instructions for new families.

Skills:Starts IVs, draws blood; Does vaginal exams; Must be competent in EFM (AWHONN or note if other). Required Upon Submission: BLS, NRP Required. ACLS preferred. Must have active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed. COVID vaccine required. Medical Declination accepted. Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. Religious declinations for COVID are not accepted. Manager to interview and offer.
