With more than 30,000 employees, $8–9B in annual revenue, and $700M+ in NIH funding, UCSF delivers global impact through its integrated academic, research, and clinical enterprises.The Position Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the CLO will design and lead an integrated, enterprise-wide approach to leadership development, learning, and talent systems. The role goes well beyond traditional learning functions, focusing instead on aligning leaders and operating models with strategy, strengthening organizational performance, and embedding scalable systems that drive sustained results within a highly complex academic health environment. The CLO will lead and develop a team of approximately 40 professionals across learning and organizational effectiveness. He/she/they will manage significant human and financial resources with high accountability. The CLO will evaluate, realign, and scale the function to meet evolving enterprise needs. The ideal candidate will be an expert in designing and shaping organizational culture, both through behaviors and systems.
