Speech-language pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.  SLP’s typically work in the home, long term care facilities, hospital, or other general medical care facility.Education/Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid and current license required
*Mandatory Experience requirements: 2 + years’ experience in acute care environment evaluating and treating  patients with speech language or swallowing  disorders.  Experience with Tracheostomy and Ventilator dependent patient and modified barium swallow studies a plus.Primary Assignment Duties: Busy work environment.  Evaluate for Dysphagia, Dysarthria, Aphasia, Cognitive Linguistic dysfunction in adult patients.  Emphasis on pt/family/staff education and training and home program development. Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Target start date of assignmen is 8/7/23, 12 week assignment.
