Oxygen: Trachs, BIPAP, Hiflow, NO vents. Chest tubes, JPs, NO Alines Ratios 1:4 (higher acuity) but can go to 1:5-6. Typically 2 patient care assistants. Monitor techs available to watch telemetry. Charge nurses primarily out of ratio depending on census and staffing. *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
