This unit requires a minimum of 2 years CVICU experience as an RN, current experience recovering immediate post-op CABG’s and TAVR’s and current experience managing Swan catheters. Experience charting with EPIC is also required. EOW, EOH Navy blue scrubs Unit Specific Details Unit Size: 8 beds (combined within 30 bed ICU) Ratios: 1:1-3, acuity dependent. 1:1 for fresh post-op’s and 1:2-3 for more stable patients. Patient Population: Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU Lines/Drains/Devices: Swan Catheter experience required. Impella, VAD, IABP and CRRT experience preferred. Airway: Intubated patients on ventilators. Drips: Critical drips with titration. Ancillary Staff: Limited tech support in the ICU based on census and availability. Primarily total care. *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
