Initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. -Delivers patient care competently. -Interacts with family and patient in sharing care plan while in the clinic, time of discharge, and continued care via phone triage. -Informs patient and family of clinic procedures. -Patient Education: Provides chemotherapy related educational information to patients, family, etc.; answers inquiries and provides guidance as appropriate. -Makes referral regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. -Delegates tasks to support staff. -Patient Follow Up: Schedules patient follow-up activities related to their treatment and assists with coordination of care by obtaining referrals and completing phone calls with the patients after their clinic visits.
