Postpartum/Newborn: -Assessment and care of postpartum (vaginal and cesarean deliveries) and newborn patients. -Newborn care includes (but not limited to): hearing screen, assisting with laboratory draws, IV starts and care, medication administration (hep B, vit K, erythromycin, antibiotics), assist with circumcisions, care of opiate withdrawal newborns, stabilization of critically ill newborns for transport, phototherapy, hypoglycemia care.
