MINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS: · Adheres to dress code; appearance is clean and neat. · Completes annual educational requirements, both regulatory and organizational. · Maintains regulatory requirements including all state, federal and accreditation regulations. · Ensures patient confidentiality. · Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, fire, safety, and infection control. · Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. · Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices. · Communicates the mission, vision, and values of the organization. 5. ROLE ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Regulatory/Educational Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must be registered in four modalities (RT, CT, MR, Nuc, or Mammo). Current BLS/CPR certification. Supervisor Responsibilities N/A Language Skills Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Must be able to communicate with and provide accurate explanations and instructions about the procedure to the patient, significant others and other health care providers. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret documents necessary to provide adequate, quality patient care. Work Environment · The job requires potential exposure to infectious waste and an assortment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as foul odors. · The noise level is moderate to occasionally loud, occasional interactions with belligerent and/or aggressive patients and significant others are possible. Exposure to environmental factors including heat, cold, precipitation such as snow and rain, and wind is possible.
