  • The Director of Infection Prevention is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the Infection Prevention Program for the Dallas market, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and consistent application of evidence-based infection prevention practices across all inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Reporting to the Vice President of Nursing Operations, this leader will manage a team of six direct reports.
  • This leader will strengthen Infection Prevention operations by ensuring consistent adherence to industry best practices, maintaining robust oversight of high-risk infection detection workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ideal candidates will be experienced Infection Prevention leaders with a proven ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across disciplines, and advocate for team needs. The successful candidate will balance strategic operational oversight with effective leadership skills.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required.
  • Active participation at the national level with APIC, CHA , or related professional associations is required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in Infection Prevention required; a nursing background is preferred but not required.

AdventHealth Central Texas is seeking their next dynamic Manager of Emergency Department in Killeen, Texas! ?The Position
  • The new Manager of Emergency Department (ED) will be responsible for the strategic planning, direction, and overall accountability for AdventHealth of Central Texas’s Emergency Department with a focus on driving quality patient-focused care that meets the needs of the community. 
  • The Manager of ED will oversee approximately 81+ FTEs and will have responsibility over the 50-bed Emergency Department which is divided up into trauma/cardiac, general patient, behavioral health, vertical recliners, and overflow. 
  • This leader will focus on workforce and staffing initiatives such as mentoring new hires and junior-level staff, recruitment, and retention rates. They will also collaborate closely with the physician team driving stable relationships across the department.  
  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on dynamic leader who brings Emergency Department expertise and a strong understanding of regulations and financials. 
  • Seeking a seasoned, adaptable, approachable, and detail-oriented leader who can effectively collaborate with all levels of leadership. The ideal leader will balance the emotional needs of the team with accountability and a focus on process improvement. 
Requirements
  • BSN is required. 
  • Active TX RN license is required. 
  • Active TNCC, ACLS, and/or PALS certifications are required; active CEN certification is preferred.
