  • The Director of Advanced Practice and Clinical Operations – Women’s Health will lead the women’s specialty Advanced Practice Provider (APP) team, overseeing risk management, quality, safety, and clinical operations for assigned outpatient clinics.
  • Reporting directly to the Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer, and with a dotted-line relationship to the Assistant Vice President of Women’s Services, this leader will oversee two direct reports and a team of 32 FTEs.
  • Key responsibilities for this leader include building strong relationships with staff to establish trust, observing team dynamics, and offering recommendations for improvement and positive change. Additional responsibilities include clinical oversight related to workflow development, job description creation, and participation in the Nursing Executive Council.
  • The leader will be expected to maintain clinical hours, with specific scheduling to be determined.
  • The ideal candidate is a humble, collaborative leader with a proven ability to build strong relationships and drive results. Previous leadership experience is essential, and outpatient experience is preferred.

  • The CVOR Nurse Manager will be responsible for leading daily operations within a busy Cardiovascular Operating Room setting containing four ORs throughout AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

Inaugural Chief, Pediatric Otolaryngology Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Orlando, FLThe Organization:Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children (OHAPH) has 156 beds. Caring for its patients are more than 150 pediatric subspecialty physicians and 65 advanced practice professionals in these specialties: primary care pediatrics, adolescent medicine, complex and transition care, neonatal intensive care, critical care, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, behavioral health and development, endocrinology and diabetes, feeding difficulties center, nephrology, urology, hematology/oncology and neuro-oncology, infectious diseases and immunology, pediatric surgery, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, pulmonology and sleep medicine, genetics, developmental pediatrics, neurology, emergency medicine, palliative care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology, rheumatology, sports medicine, otolaryngology, anesthesiology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery and craniomaxillofacial surgery. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital also has a pediatric residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) comprised of 42 pediatric residents. In the summer of 2024, the pediatric residency program will grow with 16 new residents starting. The program is built upon the strengths of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital and a passion to develop the next generation of pediatric physicians. The hospital also has five pediatric fellowship programs in pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric craniomaxillofacial surgery, pediatric orthopedic surgery, and pediatric critical care. Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital consistently has been recognized as a national leader in pediatric care. Since 2008, these touchpoints of excellence have placed Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital as a Best Children’s Hospital in the United States. For fourteen consecutive years, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital on its Best Children’s Hospitals list in multiple pediatric specialties. It is the only hospital in Orlando to be recognized so consistently. The Opportunity: Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children (OHAPH) in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an outstanding leader to serve as the Inaugural Chief, Pediatric Otolaryngology. Reporting to Justin Williams, President, the Chief will establish and lead a new division, overseeing its development, resource management, and programmatic growth. This role will focus on fostering clinician development, enhancing education, and driving clinical productivity to ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, clinical excellence, patient care, and teaching. The Chief will be responsible for building the division within the Orlando Health Medical Group while continuing collaboration with the hospital’s private practice physicians. Currently, pediatric otolaryngology services at OHAPH are delivered by private practitioners. Approximately 1,000 pediatric otolaryngology cases were performed last year, with significant potential for growth given the hospital's robust resources, including 15,000 annual births, a large newborn nursery, and a high-volume NICU at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. The incoming Chief will immediately have the opportunity to recruit two additional clinicians, aiming to grow the division to 4-5 providers. These clinicians will work alongside experienced OR staff proficient in pediatric otolaryngology surgeries. Additionally, the new Children’s Pavilion will offer dedicated space to support the division’s growth and operations. This is a unique opportunity to shape a division and advance pediatric otolaryngology services at OHAPH. In addition, the Division Chief will have the opportunity to build the ambulatory practice and establish operational processes for their clinics. Significant opportunities exist to include Pediatric Otolaryngology at existing OHAPH satellite clinics throughout Central Florida as the division grows.
