Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient?s situation. Connect electrocardiogram EKG leads and alerts doctor of any changes in patient condition. Records analyzes hemodynamic parameters and calculates shunt and valves and other data. Monitors patient analyzes electrocardiogram EKG and hemodynamic parameter and reports to physician any changes in patient?s condition. Operates computerized MIDAS system with accuracy and evaluates and reports significant data and findings throughout all procedures for all patients of various age groups.
