Every other weekend and holidays required* No call required — Who manages ventilators: RT, RN responsible for administering nebulizers – Unit specific procedures: 12 lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring. Additional Unit Specific Information: Travel RNs are assigned to the medical surgical float pool. Supporting 15 medical surgical units, specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery gyn, gu, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys and or vascular. Our inpatient patient ratios average from 4:1 ratio on days to 6:1 on nights. Travel RNs are assigned to a unit either in a 2-3 week period and some weeks can receive assignment 2 hours before shift. We are unable to provide a set schedule, but honor RTO. The shifts are a combination of 8 and 12 hours shifts , rotating days and nights or day evenings every other weekend. License Registered Nurse required , 3+ years related work experience required. Prior Travel required**CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. Epic experience required – Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred.
