The pay for Intensive Care Unit RNs is competitive, albeit slightly lower than in larger cities like Denver, but the cost of living is still reasonable compared to many urban areas. Housing reflects a wide range of choices from spacious family homes to modern developments, accommodating various preferences. The mild climate and abundant sunshine encourage outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking, while the city itself offers a selection of cultural events, parks, and recreational opportunities, creating an appealing lifestyle for those seeking a balance between work and leisure.
