Weekend requirements involve rotating weekend call in coordination with the team. The standard assignment is 13 weeks with a total of about 40 hours per week, offering a structured yet dynamic schedule where days may vary based on case load and call responsibilities. Patient volumes and ratios in the cath lab are designed to support safe, focused care. While ratios can vary by case and acuity, the environment emphasizes individualized attention, continuous monitoring, and coordinated team support. You will often be responsible for one patient at a time in the procedure room, ensuring close observation of vital signs, hemodynamic status, and patient comfort.
