Chief, Division of Breast Medical OncologyDepartment of Hematology OncologyFox Chase Cancer Center – Philadelphia, PAThe OpportunityThe Fox Chase Cancer Center has partnered with AMN Healthcare to recruit an accomplished breast medical oncologist to serve as Chief, Breast Medical Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategy that advances the mission of breast medical oncology and collaborates with a wide range of clinical, translational, and basic science programs at Fox Chase Cancer Center.The CandidateReporting to the Chair, Department of Hematology/Oncology, the new Chief will oversee all clinical activities for breast medical oncology, facilitate the development of clinical research for the division, and enhance collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment. The Chief will have resources to support the mentorship, recruitment and retention of faculty. A strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, and education is essential, and board certification in medical oncology is required.  The OrganizationThe Division of Breast Medical Oncology provides a full spectrum of care for every type and stage of breast cancer and conducts a wide variety of clinical trials for emerging and innovative therapies for breast cancer. Fox Chase Cancer Center is a pioneering institution in cancer research, treatment, and patient care; a founding member of the NCCN, and one of only two NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the Philadelphia region. With more than 150 funded researchers, a robust immunotherapy program spanning all medical oncology, and strong programs in head and neck as well as other specialty cancers, there is significant opportunity for collaboration—particularly with the potential for expanded ties to the Temple campus. Over the past decade, the size and scope of Fox Chase Cancer Center has expanded in terms of its scientific portfolio, the number of patients served, and the diversity of its patient population.The affiliation of Fox Chase Cancer Center with Temple University, Temple University Health System, and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine began in 2012.
