This position presents an exceptional opportunity for an authentic and experienced executive to guide the hospital towards continued stability and sustainable growth. The Position: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Board of Directors and serves as the top executive leader of Ray County Hospital, a rural critical access hospital. The CEO is responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible healthcare services to the community. This role requires a leader who can balance clinical excellence with financial sustainability, community engagement, and workforce development in a rural environment.  The Ideal Candidate: ·       Master’s degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related field required from an accredited university.·       Preferred minimum of 5–7 years of senior healthcare leadership experience, preferably as a CEO, COO, or Administrator in a rural or critical access hospital.·       Proven track record in financial management, operations, and community engagement.·       Expertise in physician relations, including recruitment, engagement and collaboration. The Organization: Ray County Hospital and Healthcare is an independent, $25M net revenue, 25 bed, Critical Access Hospital located in Richmond, MO.
