A Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist works in a Cardiac Cath lab and performs very complex procedures, including stent implants, cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators and other tests to diagnose heart disease. They take emergency calls and participate in saving the lives of those who are having a heart attack. Cath Lab Technicians are vital team members who assist doctors during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology. Cath Lab Tech’s generally work in a hospital setting.Education/Requirements:
· High School education is required, some states also require the completion of a certificate program.
· Completion of EKG course
· ACLS Certification is preferred but not always required.

MS RN’s care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery. Med Surg unit of a facility is where ill patients go to recover before being discharged. They handle large patient loads, juggle multiple patient populations, and adapt to the ever-changing face of nursing care. Although most MS RN’s work in the Med Surg unit of hospitals, they can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers.Education/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
RN‘s can only work with an active state license.

ICU RN' s provide highly specialized care to patients who suffer from a serious injury or illness. ICU RN' s need to keep watch over people whose condition may undergo rapid changes as well as care for those who are often too ill to care for themselves in even the most basic capacity. ICU RN' s work in the ICU unit of a hospital, sometimes called Critical Care. ICU RN’s may be asked to float to PCU or TeleEducation/Requirements:

ER RN’s treat patients in emergency situations where they are experiencing trauma or injury. They quickly recognize life-threatening problems and are trained to help solve them on the spot. ER RN’s treat a variety of conditions from sore throats to heart attacks for patients of all ages and backgrounds. They will stabilize patients experiencing trauma and help minimize pain. ER RN’s work in hospital emergency rooms and departments (ER and ED), ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. ER’s and hospitals are given a Trauma Rating I-III based upon the kinds of resources available in a trauma center, and the number of patients admitted yearly. Level I is the highest (capable of providing total care for every aspect of injury) and Level III (Level-3) being the lowest. Education/Requirements:
