Travel SLPA Salary

$1,600-$1,800 Per Week*

Speech Language Pathology Assistant Job Description

  • Aid lead SLP to help patients with speech and communication disorders
  • Diagnose patient problems, swallowing disorders, and help evaluate/treat based on established protocols
  • Work with family members and caregivers to help patients practice routines and improve speech and language abilities
  • Create both short and long-term treatment plans and measure progress
  • Detail patient progress in facility systems and keep notes from sessions
