Depending on the site, you may assist with portable imaging, support fluoroscopic procedures, or work in operating room settings alongside surgical teams. Patient caseloads will vary by location, but you can anticipate a mix of outpatient, emergency, and inpatient exams, allowing you to refine your skills across a range of clinical scenarios. The work environment emphasizes teamwork, with technologists, nurses, and providers cooperating to manage exam schedules, respond to urgent requests, and maintain consistent turnaround times.
