The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.

This is a 13-week temporary assignment for an experienced, registered sonographer supporting two outpatient imaging clinics in vibrant communities near Lake Norman in North Carolina. The position offers a consistent schedule across both Denver and Huntersville while allowing you to enjoy a balanced work-life rhythm in a growing, desirable region. You will split your time between two locations each week: Two days per week (Monday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) at a clinic in Denver One day per week (Tuesday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) at a clinic in Huntersville The expected weekly hours total approximately 30, with guaranteed work week arrangements for both billing and pay.
