ROLE ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Regulatory/Educational Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must be registered in four modalities (RT, CT, MR, Nuc, or Mammo). Current BLS/CPR certification. Supervisor Responsibilities N/A Language Skills Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Must be able to communicate with and provide accurate explanations and instructions about the procedure to the patient, significant others and other health care providers. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret documents necessary to provide adequate, quality patient care. Work Environment · The job requires potential exposure to infectious waste and an assortment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as foul odors. · The noise level is moderate to occasionally loud, occasional interactions with belligerent and/or aggressive patients and significant others are possible. Exposure to environmental factors including heat, cold, precipitation such as snow and rain, and wind is possible. CT Tech needed asap Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures; reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures. Two (2) years’ current experience required. -Epic experience preferred. HS Diploma or GED required. -BLS required (must be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute). -Primary ARRT certification required within one year of graduation from program of study. -ARRT(CT) is required.

Toshiba CT Scanner and Carestream Xray experience preferred. Floating and On-Call may be required. MedHost EMR. Any color scrubs. Fingerprints are required for all travelers. Technologist provides professional, timely, accurate, diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed the referring physician and within compliance of established delineated policies and procedures. Must provide C-T care to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.

Facility has 3 CT scanners. Type of equipment: GE Optima’s. Documentation system: McKesson PACS, Meditech. Candidate should have great patient care skills, Trauma experience.
