ROLE ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Regulatory/Educational Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must be registered in four modalities (RT, CT, MR, Nuc, or Mammo). Current BLS/CPR certification. Supervisor Responsibilities N/A Language Skills Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Work Environment · The job requires potential exposure to infectious waste and an assortment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as foul odors. · The noise level is moderate to occasionally loud, occasional interactions with belligerent and/or aggressive patients and significant others are possible. The CT Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
