Travel Physical Therapist jobs in Highlands, NC let you work in a rehab-focused hospital with 24 acute and swing beds, 40 nursing home beds, and 10 skilled beds within the nursing home. You will provide therapy in patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and a rehab gym, with full access to both hospital and nursing home gyms. The patient ratio is 1:1, and you will float between acute, swing, nursing home, and outpatient services as needed. Documentation is done in Cerner and NetHealth. Required qualifications include a current NC Physical Therapy license, CPR certification, and experience in hospital and/or nursing home settings. Preferred candidates have at least 3 years of medical experience. Responsibilities include physical therapy evaluations, establishing plans of care, assisting with rounds and care conferences, and frequent communication with the rehab team about patient progress, equipment, and discharge needs.
