MedPage Today, an online resource for physicians and other healthcare professionals nationwide, posted a very positive and insightful review of AMN Healthcare’s new Physician Billing Report.
This new resource from our Center for Workforce Research tracks average annual billing submitted by physicians in 18 specialties, by nurse practitioners (NPs) and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) to commercial health insurance companies. Our report shows the average annual billing for all providers is $3.8 million per year.
