Level 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital. It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses. Nursing on this unit is patient centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes. We value what each and every team member contributes toward providing excellent patient care that is evidence-based as well as holistic. Two North has an active and engaged Unit Based Council (Shared Governance) that promotes a healthy work environment of teamwork and positivity. New team members are welcomed and supported in their orientation, as they learn and grow in their professional nursing practice.
