Develops a follow-up system to provide continual support throughout recovery to improving their quality of life. -Provides psychosocial and emotional support to Joint replacement patient and their family. -Works closely with the medical staff in coordination of timely care. -Assists in the development of appropriate educational material for patients, family, and clinical staff in collaboration with the Education Department and Joint Certification committee. -Attends and participates in the Joint Certification Meetings and any other related committee/taskforce as needed. -Offers pre-operative class education to prepare patients for surgery and after-care.
