  • The Program Manager, Talent Development, will be responsible for supporting and advancing the Children’s Talent Strategy through practical, business-driven talent solutions.
  • This position will report to the Senior Director, Talent Management and Organizational Development.
  • Working alongside senior leadership, this position will be responsible for developing and executing a robust talent development and strategic plan, including talent planning, succession, bench planning, career pathing, and individual development planning in alignment with enterprise business objectives.
  • Ideal candidates will be subject matter experts with demonstrated experience in designing and implementing effective talent management strategies and processes. The ability to navigate ambiguity, paired with strong consulting, communication, and organizational skills, will be essential to success.
  • This position primarily offers a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office days coordinated with leadership. Candidates must reside in Texas or be willing to relocate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in learning and/or talent development is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Asana (or similar) required.
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in learning and development, including at least five years in a leadership role, required.

  • The Manager, Learning and Development, plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the learning strategy, driving innovation in learning experiences, and ensuring alignment with Children’s Health business and talent priorities.
  • Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning and Talent Management, this role will help develop an enterprise-wide learning strategy and lead a team of six direct reports.
  • Ideal candidates will be collaborative and respectful leaders capable of building strong relationships. They should be selfless leaders who empower others, support and nurture growth opportunities, and actively listen to and validate team concerns. Candidates must also be adaptable, with a strategic business focus and a dedication to process improvement and modernized ideas.
