The Interventional Radiology Technologist demonstrates and understands the scope of responsibility within their license. They properly identify the patient, appropriately set up for procedures and clean rooms appropriately after the procedure. The Interventional Radiology Technologist confirms, reviews, and prepares orders with correct coding for Physicians. Looking for a Tech who has worked in a peripheral room before. This position must be able to work with our vascular surgeons to scrub and use radiology equipment (help with imaging) in our hybrid OR room; can expect to work in the IR department if there isn’t work in the hybrid room.
