Position will require OR/C-Arm, ED, Portable, Fluoro and general exams for all patient demographics The Radiology Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The Radiology Technologist, maintains a state license as a general radiographer, and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of: basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services and routine procedures

2+ years of experience. 50-mile radius rule. No more than a 3-month work history gap in the last year. Active NV license, ARRT(R) and BLS-AHA required. Call may be required, will be discussed at time of interview. This is an extremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center

Mountain Communities Healthcare District is a very small hospital in a very rural town. We have a 4 bed Emergency Room, no ICU, no trauma center. Our Radiology Dept. services our Emergency Room, our 10 bed Medical/Surgical floor and our out patient needs. We only schedule staff on day shift Monday through Friday. However, we need someone that can share on call responsibilities with our other two Radiologic Technologist on evenings and weekends. · Understands and performs the duties of a Radiologic Technologist 3, 12’s with shared evening and weekend call · Understands the complexities of imaging equipment in all modalities, i.e., radiology and CT · Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patient served · Demonstrates knowledge of positioning patients for optimal results Graduate of a Accredited Radiology Program, with Associate of Science Degree b) Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT) c) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred d) Two years experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred e) Experience in at least two modalities f) Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experience g) BLS Certification required

On the night shift, you will provide high-quality CT imaging for pediatric inpatients, emergency department patients, trauma activations, and critical care units. Your responsibilities will include performing routine and emergent CT exams, with a focus on rapid, accurate imaging for acute conditions such as trauma, respiratory distress, neurological changes, and postoperative complications. You will also serve as backup for general diagnostic X-ray, supporting the emergency department, operating rooms, and inpatient units as needed. A typical night may include performing a mix of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremity CT studies, along with portable and department-based X-ray exams. You will follow established pediatric protocols, work closely with radiologists to tailor imaging to the clinical question, and apply pediatric-specific dose reduction strategies. You will also assist with patient preparation, IV access coordination, contrast administration workflows, and collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and child life specialists to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for each child. Patient volumes vary based on season and acuity, but the department is structured to maintain safe, manageable workloads on nights. You can expect to work independently while having access to on-call or in-house radiologist support, as well as strong collaboration with emergency and critical care teams.
