Department Specific Duties: Demonstrates the ability to anticipate the needs of the Cardiothoracic Surgeons. Practices within the Scope of Practice for a Surgical Technician. Demonstrates the ability to pull cases and ensure that all supplies are available for Cardiothoracic cases. Maintains all applicable licensure. Picks supplies and instrumentation for surgical procedures. Participates in maintenance of preference cards. Assists RN with room preparation.
