Saundra Vild is the Divisional Vice President of Training for the Nurse Division at AMN Healthcare. She started working at AMN Healthcare in 2015 as a travel nurse recruiter. Through her ability to connect with her clinicians and give guidance and support, she grew quickly and soon transitioned into a leadership role.
As a leader, she managed nine travel recruiters along with her own Travel nurses. After a year in the role, Saundra transitioned to her true passion, developing others. She has continued to contribute to the success of the organization by training recruiters on how to build connections with nurses and grow their own desks.
Saundra supports various strategic initiatives within AMN, geared towards better Clinician and Client experience. She is Prosci, Change Management certified and helps ensure team members work through organizational change in a way that supports their personal growth.
She also enjoys hosting our Live Q&A events in order to connect our Clinicians with AMN and help them understand how we support them personally and professionally. Saundra is passionate about creating an environment around transparency where all can have questions asked and answered. She truly believes AMN is the best place for our CLNs and wants to make them aware of it too!
Saundra lives in Southern California with her husband and two boys. She loves spending time with them outdoors (at the beach or park) and enjoying everything that the Southern California weather has to offer. She is an avid runner and lover of books. Saundra is also a Board Member for Girls On The Run, San Diego, and enjoys being able to give back to her community in this capacity.
