AMN Healthcare is proud to be part of the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women's equality. Bloomberg's standardized reporting framework offers public companies the opportunity to disclose information on how they promote gender equality across four separate areas – company statistics, policies, community engagement and products and services. This framework is the only international standardized reporting and disclosure method for workplace gender data.
AMN Healthcare is listed to the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index (CEI) premier benchmarking survey in the U.S. for corporate policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.
The CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. The CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion project is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Bringing together some of the world’s leading companies and business organizations, its goal is to leverage individual and collective voices to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

As a part of the U.S. 30% Club, Susan Salka, Chief Executive Officer of AMN Healthcare, has joined over 70 other business leaders committed to achieving better gender balance across all levels of their organization. Founded on the belief that gender balance in the boardroom encourages better governance and contributes to stronger all-around corporate governance, The U.S. 30% Club convenes an influential peer-to-peer network to drive meaningful, sustainable change
The U.S. 30% Club has also launched a number of initiatives focused on strengthening the pipeline of female directors, by contributing directly to the pool of qualified candidates through its Future Female Directors program, engaging in a strategic partnership with theBoardlist and mentoring mid-career level women across industries. First launched in the UK in 2010, the 30% Club now includes chapters in 14 regions, including Australia, Southern Africa, and Turkey.
