What's Your Why: ASL Interpreting

"I, personally, enjoy the “puzzle” and complexity of medical interpreting. Attending closely to the patient and provider encounter and needs, how the pieces fit together in that specific environment and context, and how I can best support full communication access. I realize that one missing “piece” can have a significant impact on patient care and I strive to capture each nuance towards the overarching ethic of “do no harm”. I love every aspect of this work!"
