You must have an active registered nurse (RN) license and at least 2 years of recent PCU experience. Proficiency in advanced life support, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended[1].
