Responsibilities
Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and the InterMountain Education Service District multidisciplinary team to support student success.
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and communicate observations and outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Maintain accurate documentation, data collection, and billing records in compliance with district and state requirements.
Assist with consultative services and classroom-based interventions as directed.
Communicate effectively with educators, staff, families, and therapy team members.
Promote a positive, professional, and student-centered environment that encourages growth and achievement.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development.
Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will also develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Throughout the course of the school year, they will provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. They will monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The SLP will also provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.
