They have 4 neuro rads, 2 neuro surgeons, and 3 vascular surgeons. – Do they have to start IV’s?: No- IR RNs will do. – Shifts & Scheduling: 4- 10s rotate their day off. Shifts start at 7a- 5:30p or 7:30a to 6p. – Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week. Weeknight call is 6p-7a. Call schedule will be put out and staff (including travelers) can choose their call days based on their schedule- picking 4 weeknight and 2 weekends. Allowed to switch call days with others if needed. 2 RNs and 2 IR techs on call team. – Weekend/Call Requirements: 1 weekend call per month- have a group of 9 that take call.
