AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Gainesville, Georgia to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development. Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will also develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Throughout the course of the school year, they will provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. They will monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The SLP will also provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment. Benefits Box School assignments are typically nine months in length but can vary depending on the length of the contract and school calendar.
