Generally, the PT will conduct assessments, build and execute effective treatment plans, and educate students to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function. Responsibilities for this role include: • Partner with the district as a member of a collaborative team to help students restore and maintain their physical functions. • Screen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy treatment. • Appropriately collect data, report findings. • Diagnose movement dysfunction and create personalized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function. • Provide evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services as required. • Maintain accurate documentation and billing per district and state standards. • Participate on a collaborative team and maintain clear communication with teachers, district staff, and families regarding student treatment.
