Required Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required prior to start. Experience Required: Must have 2+ years of acute care RT experience. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. Extremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center This position performs respiratory therapy procedures per protocol and those ordered by physicians to improve the cardiopulmonary conditions of patients from newborn to geriatric ages. Clinical Respiratory Therapist’s primarily work with those patients in the critical care units, adult general care, and pediatric general care, and may provide respiratory care at a secondary care site consistent with the mission and obligations of Renown Health.
