Protects patients and team members by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, protocols, and techniques. NUC MED TECH needed asap Primarily adult outpatient procedures (16y/o+) Various general nuclear medicine exams such as bone scans, Hidascans, thyroid, etc. (will not be conducting nuclear cardiology imaging scans) Must have experience with conducting Pet CT scans (CTCertification NMTCB- CT required per NYS) Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT Certification and NYS Rad Tech License BLS (American Heart Association) MUST have CT Certification NMTCB- CT or ARRT-CT 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine required, 2 years of Nuclear Medicine preferred. PET/CT training and licensure required, but will consider candidates who have not professionally conducted PET/CT scans Will consider candidates while they’re pending their NYS license – must be able to obtain prior to start. Epic experience preferred, but not required.
