The ability to obtain and maintain a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) from American Board of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Tech (ABRET) or a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS. T.) from American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET)/ Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) from American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET) and BLS-AHA required. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. On-Call may be required, and will be discussed during interview. This is an extremely busy and fast paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. Level 2 trauma center, Stroke accreditation, 800 inpatient bed hospital, 80 ER beds. The volume and pace required to work here are that of level 1 trauma center. This position assists in complex Neurodiagnostic procedures of the central and peripheral nervous system for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neurological diseases in accordance industry, Federal, State, TJC, NAEC, and Laboratory Accreditation Board of ABRET, and AANEM requirements. The Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician participates in the implementation of ASET, ACNS, AANEM Standards of Care and physician orders to achieve the goal of effective utilization of services and improved patient outcomes. In conjunction with leadership, this position is responsible for recommending the delivery of patient care through proper execution of care standards, physician orders, and electro neurodiagnostic practitioner skills.
