ROLE ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: Regulatory/Educational Requirements · High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Technology. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography. Must be registered in four modalities (RT, CT, MR, Nuc, or Mammo). Current BLS/CPR certification. Supervisor Responsibilities N/A Language Skills Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Work Environment · The job requires potential exposure to infectious waste and an assortment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as foul odors. · The noise level is moderate to occasionally loud, occasional interactions with belligerent and/or aggressive patients and significant others are possible. CT Tech needed asap Performs computerized tomographic radiographs according to established practices and procedures; reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, appropriately prioritizes exams, and demonstrates effective communication of critical situations. Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures. Two (2) years’ current experience required. -Epic experience preferred. HS Diploma or GED required. -BLS required (must be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute). -Primary ARRT certification required within one year of graduation from program of study. -ARRT(CT) is required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
