Performs monitor technician duties and unit secretarial clerical duties while acting as a communication center for the nursing unit. Observes patients cardiac telemetry oximetry and maintains records, documents in EMR, prints strips and reports any pertinent rhythm or rate changes especially life-threatening dysrhythmias and desaturations and provide patient reports. Must have the ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs & explain data. Must have good written communication and Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
