Create, Lead, Inspire — Executive Director of Nursing Needed for Wellstar’s Newly Opening Columbia County Medical Center in Grovetown, GAThe Position
  • The Executive Director of Nursing will provide direct leadership and oversight for multiple service lines, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care at Wellstar’s newest hospital, Columbia County Medical Center.
  • The Executive Director of Nursing reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations and oversees a team of 212 FTEs with seven direct reports.
  • This leader is responsible for hiring staff for a new hospital opening, managing onboarding and training, developing and enhancing departmental policies, and participating in committee meetings to identify, address, and resolve operational and clinical issues.
  • The ideal candidate is an experienced nursing leader who is flexible and able to adapt to changing needs. Prior experience opening a new unit or hospital is highly preferred. Excellent team building, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with comfort managing productivity reports and capital budgets.
Requirements
  • MSN required.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience required, including at least 5 years in a manager or director role.

Exciting opportunity to join OU Health, a distinguished academic health center system, as the next Assistant CRNA Program Director!The Position
  • The Assistant CRNA Program Director will be responsible for launching and developing the new CRNA program in alignment with the mission of the College of Nursing.
  • This leader will report to the CRNA Program Director and will collaborate closely with other Program Directors, the Executive Director for Student Affairs, Department Chairs, and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. 
  • This leader will be responsible for representing faculty and students related to the CRNA Program on all levels and will serve as a liaison between the OU College of Nursing and the CRNA community. 
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working as a CRNA with a strong focus on teaching CRNA practices. They must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • This role requires an onsite leader; remote or hybrid work options are not available. 
Requirements
  • PhD, DNP, or DNAP required; must hold or be eligible to obtain an active OK APRN license.
  • CRNA certification required.
  • A minimum of three years of practicing as a CRNA is required. 
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience in addition to two years of faculty leadership experience within a CRNA program is required. 
  • A record of scholarship and extramural funding is strongly preferred.
