The Chair promotes excellence in women’s health outcomes, strengthens residency and medical student education and supports scholarly activity through research, grants, publications and regional and national collaboration. The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will be an obstetrician-gynecologist or OB-GYN subspecialist with at least five years of experience as a faculty member in academic medicine and demonstrated success in leadership roles that may include faculty and student mentorship, strategic planning, fiscal management, academic recruitment, and organizational development. The candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or applicable subspecialty and be eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia.
